Kids On The Move is a locally owned baby and family gear rental service on Catalina Island. We provide cribs, car seats, strollers, high chairs, and other essential baby gear to vacation rentals, hotels, and families visiting Avalon. Our goal is to make traveling with children easier, safer, and more convenient.

Easy Delivery & Pickup
Kids On The Move provides convenient delivery and pickup directly to vacation rentals, hotels, and accommodations in Avalon. We have strong relationships with local vacation rental agencies and Airbnb hosts, allowing us to deliver baby gear directly into your unit prior to arrival whenever possible for added convenience.
All items are clean, safe, and carefully maintained so you can focus on enjoying your trip. For families who need an item right away—such as a car seat—same-day delivery to Blue Line Baggage at the ferry terminal is available for a small additional fee.
Traveling with little ones? Kids On The Move offers car seat rentals that support tours and transportation on Catalina Island, helping families explore Avalon comfortably and safely.
While many vehicles on the island are golf carts, California road safety laws still apply, including car seat requirements where appropriate.
Standard rentals are designed for overnight or multi-night stays and are delivered directly to your vacation rental or accommodation.
Guests booking a private tour with The Avalon Tour Company may request a complimentary car seat, subject to availability. Car seats must be requested in advance at the time of booking.
Same-day drop-off/pick-up requests—for families not touring with The Avalon Tour Company or in need of an additional carseat or stroller—are subject to our availability and are strongly recommended to be reserved at least 72 hours in advance. Same-day drop-off/pick-up requests incur a premium, which includes a $10 Blue Line Baggage delivery fee, a $20 day-use rate, and a $20 delivery fee. Please note that we are not set up as an on-demand service.
