    If you have a larger group, Gary the Garibaldi can seat up to 13 passengers and also offers private tours. No need to split your group up!

  • Absolutely! You will be given the option at check out to add additional hours to your tour. If you are needing longer than what you are seeing is available, feel free to call, text, or email.

  • Yes! In California golf carts are required to follow the same safety rules as other motorized vehicles. Please let us know at checkout if you have a little one traveling with you, we provide car seats.

  • Yes! A private tour means your group, and your group only. :)

  • We take you all along the city of Avalon, pointing out historical landmarks, historic homes, we take you to all of the scenic spots, and hidden gems that you may not see otherwise.

  • Yes! All of our golf carts are brand new, low speed vehicle electric golf carts. All of our drivers are DOT compliant, on randomized drug testing, and have CA issued drivers licenses. Safety is our #1 priority!

  • Yes, our combined weight limit is 1,200lbs.

  • No. We are a private tour and are happy to take 1 passenger, a couple, or up to 5.

    1. Golf carts sell out daily! They are first come, first serve. If you take a tour with us, we will pick you up on location, no waiting in long lines.


    2. You know what you’re looking at! When driving a rental golf cart you are given a map, but that map does not tell you about what you are seeing. Sure Avalon may be pretty on its own, but having someone tell you what you’re looking at leaves a lasting memory.


    3. You can RELAX. That’s the whole point of vacation anyways right? We’re sure you drive enough in your day to day life. Let us cheaffure you around so you can enjoy the ride in peace.

  • Yes! The Avalon Tour Company offers our unique Gary the Garibaldi City Tour, which can hold up to 13 passengers in a single golf cart—perfect for family groups, friend groups, or small corporate events.

    In addition, we have one 6-seater golf cart for smaller groups. If your group is larger than 13, we recommend contacting us so we can help coordinate the best experience, and we’re planning to expand our capacity for larger groups in the near future.
